Are employee leasing rates coming down?... You may want to ask your clients.
Here is the question to ask your clients or prospects that are using an employee leasing company.
Did your employee leasing company pass along the reduced 2008 workers' compensation rates? A few of them may say yes but, most of them are going to say no.
Employee leasing companies are getting squeezed due to workers' compensation rates going down, reducing their profits. SUTA (state unemployment taxes) rates are going up because of the SUTA Dumping laws (see our article on SUTA Dumping).
Because you work with ABCO Payroll Services you can offer them an alternative to employee leasing. The first quarter is historically a great quarter for us.
So, January renewals are out of the way, time to get some new business!
Good luck!
